November 16, 2017, St. John’s, NL – Nalcor honoured with a Canadian Electricity Association Sustainable Electricity Award in the category of Advancement of an Integrated Approach to Sustainability.

“For our employees, sustainability is about keeping each other safe, protecting the environment, investing in our communities and ensuring our workplace is diverse, inclusive and engaging.

We believe a sustainable approach to growth and operations drives performance, enhances employee relations, and builds a stronger relationship with the community.

Over the last several years, we have been working to develop a comprehensive approach to sustainability across all of our lines of business – an approach that considers a broader perspective to environment, the economy and society in general. Thank you to the Canadian Electricity Association for recognizing the work we are doing to create a sustainable energy company.
